Kathy Klotz-Guest CEO of Keeping it Human, is a marketing strategist and storyteller who has helped companies such as SGI, Gartner, Excite and Autodesk, create better products and turn marketing messages into powerful human stories. She is a Founding Research Fellow and board member for the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR) and recently completed a study of over 100 companies on the use of video storytelling.

With a background in humor and improvisation, Kathy also helps teams innovate differently by inverting assumptions about what’s possible, using play as creative fuel, and never losing sight of the fact that marketing is always about meeting customers’ human needs. In this podcast, she explains the difference between fun and funny, and talks about how humor can help drive organizational success.
